To support our membership growth, HIA is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and customer service focused individual to service the Victorian region. This is a full time, permanent position.This role will be based out of our Melbourne office but the duties of the role will require the successful applicant to spend much of the time on the road looking for growth and development of our membership business in the surrounding region. This role will also utilise solution selling techniques to maximize the value of new relationships by selling HIA’s other products and services.Key responsibilities include:Reach or exceed new member recruitment sales targets which may include outbound telemarketing, networking, visiting building sites or other appropriate meansCanvas through HIA events, awards, training and other industry functions for potential new membersRepresent HIA at Trade Nights and other eventsDevelop and implement up-selling and cross-selling strategies to maximise the value across a broad range of products and servicesReach or exceed retention targets for existing membersEnsure appropriate record management including account management, prospecting and lead generationAssisting with mentoring candidates for building registration or licencesAssist with the implementation of marketing and promotional strategiesTo be successful in this role you will have:Demonstrated ability to reach and exceed sales and service targetsAbility to procure new business opportunitiesExcellent administrative and time management skillsAbility to handle conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlinesEnthusiastic team playerStrong communication and presentation skillsComputer literate with experience using MS Office productsCustomer service oriented with an exceptional telephone mannerFlexible and willing to learnOutgoing and confident personalityExperience in the residential building industry will be considered favourablyAn attractive salary package is offered including base salary, bonus potential, mobile and company vehicle.Position Description AUDMelbourne
