HIA members include builders, contractors, developers, manufacturers and suppliers. HIA delivers services to its members in a number of areas, including policy and advocacy, workplace services and training. We currently have an opportunity for a Supervisor for our InfoCentre team in Queensland, based at our office in South Brisbane, fixed-term maternity leave cover.The role HIA’s InfoCentre provides a national service to HIA offering industrial relations advice, assistance with award rates of pay and interpretation, contract clarification and manages consumer enquiries.As the InfoCentre Supervisor, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the smooth and efficient running of the centre including the publication of modern award pay information sheets, recruiting, supervising and supporting the staff as well as identifying areas of potential performance improvements or new service delivery methods.The person The position is ideal for someone looking to build on their previous supervision experience with additional management responsibilities.The successful person will desirably have tertiary qualifications in legal, industrial relations, or human resources, (or demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar role).
