We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Digital Product Developer to develop and maintain products and services for HIA’s Safety Services and potentially other business units.HIA is undergoing a digital transformation which will enable it to better support members and customers. Key to supporting its customers further, HIA seeks to appoint this key role to help enhance existing products and build first class digital product safety and risk capability.As the Digital Product Developer you will be responsible for end to end digital product management, including taking products from initial idea through to strategy, implementation and continuous improvement.This position can be located in our various Metropolitan offices.This role will require the successful applicant to:Identifies opportunities for new products through research of trends, changes to regulations and customer demandCreates a clear business case and project plan for the introduction of new productsMaintains the quality and application of existing productsTrains Safety Solutions staff in the attributes and use of productsDevelops user guides and tips to support productsContributes to development of marketing materialManages documentation related to the development of digital productsManages key stakeholders in the product development area such as IT, Digital, product staff and contract supportDevelops a clear understanding of HIA’s market segments and targets products accordinglyProvides products which support HIA ApprenticesProvides reports on the use and performance of productsResponds to requests for help in support of digital productsLogs and addresses bug fixes of digital productsRemains current about changes to safety regulations and legislationWorks as an integral part of the Safety Solutions teamThe successful applicant will have:Experience with development of WHS systems and documentation or has worked in a compliance related industryExperience project managing the development of digital productsPreferably have knowledge of the building and construction sectorProven approach to creative and innovative product development andProject management skillsPosition Description AUDCanberra2601
