As a national industry organisation, HIA's primary role is to represent and advance the interests of its members.An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative team.The HIA events team coordinates and delivers a wide range of industry events throughout the WA Region. This includes the prestigious HIA Awards program, as well as member information sessions, industry and economic outlook events and webinars.We are looking for someone to:Promote and deliver the HIA calendar of events and awardsDevelop new and relevant event topics and event conceptsService event partners and sponsorsAssist in developing strategies to grow revenue and member participation at awards and eventsDevelop content for marketing and publication through online and print publicationsSupporting our members leading up to HIA’s events is an important part of this role; you’ll require strong customer service and communication skills.Essential knowledge, skills and experience:At least 2 years demonstrated experience as an event coordinator, ideally in a corporate environmentHighly motivated and able to deliver results against deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated initiative and the ability to take ownership of tasks and responsibility for actionsExcellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise competing activitiesFamiliar with marketing and communications processes and applicationsExperience in coordinating award programs (desirable)Familiarity with CRM’s and event management software such as EventsAir (desirable).What we offer:A positive, supportive, and nurturing team cultureOngoing training and developmentFree parking and accessible officeWork / life balance.A full position description can be found in the Careers page on our website careers.hia.com.auIf you are interested in joining our team, apply with your CV and cover letter outlining why you’re an ideal candidate.Position Description AUD Perth 6000
