As a national industry organisation, HIA's primary role is to represent and advance the interests of its members.An exceptional career opportunity has become available in our Melbourne office located in Burnley, for the role of Partnerships Manager- VIC.The roleThe Partnerships Manager will develop and grow partnership opportunities, and strengthen key partner relationships with both HIA members and non-members. Additionally, the Partnerships Manager will identify cross promotional opportunities through partnership discussions and sell / upgrade partner agreements accordingly.Key responsibilities include:Identify opportunities for improvement and growth across events, partnerships, publications, communications and HIA products, and facilitate these initiatives;Develop and implement a communications strategy with national marketing and communications team to ensure effective promotion of HIA Victorian events;Identify new opportunities for partnerships;Grow the partnership revenue opportunities;Work to enhance use of social media to promote and highlight the success of HIA events and partnerships;Develop and deliver annual partnership budget;Work collaboratively with national event and other state managers and coordinators to improve processes and relationships, and to grow the HIA brand;Work with the Events Manager - VIC to support coordination and organisation of Victorian events, to grow partnership/sponsorship opportunites through these events;Attend Victorian events to assist with their delivery and grow partnership opportunities; andProvide support to HIA partners, sponsors and publications advertisers to grow their band awareness through HIA events and publications.To be successful, you will have:Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, EventsAir and/or GoTo Webinar (desirable);Great teamwork skills;Commitment to deadlines and able to handle conflicting priorities;Energy and enthusiasm;Some previous sales experience;The flexibility to work after-hours occasionally as required for events and awards;A qualification in business, marketing or related area (highly desirable);Current driver’s licence.A full job description can be found in the Careers section of our website, Careers at HIA.If you are interested in this position, please submit your application by clicking on the link to apply before 17 September 2022.Position Description AUD Melbourne 3000
