Events Coordinator

Work with a leading National Association Full time, permanent role Osborne Park location The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s peak residential building industry body. We are currently seeking an Event Coordinator to join our team. This exciting position is based in our office located in Osborne Park.As an Event Coordinator you will work as part of an experienced and dynamic HIA events team. This team promotes, coordinates and delivers a wide range of industry events throughout the WA Region including the prestigious HIA Housing Awards program, member information sessions and other events.  We are looking for someone who can:Promote, coordinate and deliver the HIA calendar of eventsDevelop new and relevant events with engaging content for our membersAssisting with the servicing of event partners and sponsorsTake the necessary actions to deliver on budgets and revenueDeveloping strategies to increase entry and guest participation at each evenAssist in the development of content for marketing and publication through online and print publicationsSupporting our members throughout the process leading up to HIA’s events is an important part of this role, you will require strong customer service and communication skills.  To ensure our events remain a success we are seeking someone who:Is highly motivated and able to deliver results against deadlines.Has experience in events with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and an enthusiastic outlook.Be familiar with marketing, communications processes and applicationsThinks outside the square and bring new ideas to the tableWe are hoping to fill this role as soon as possible and seeking someone who feels passionately about event coordination and is ready to hit the ground running.Position Description AUD Osborne Park 6017
