HIA currently has an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to lead our InfoCentre team in Queensland, based at our office in South Brisbane.
What will you be doing?
HIA’s InfoCentre provides a national service to HIA offering industrial relations advice, assistance with award rates of pay and interpretation, contract clarification and manages consumer enquiries.
As the InfoCentre Supervisor, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the smooth and efficient running of the centre including the publication of modern award pay information sheets, recruiting, supervising and supporting the staff as well as identifying areas of potential performance improvements or new service delivery methods.
Who are you?
This position is ideal for someone looking to build on their previous supervision experience with additional management responsibilities.
The successful person will desirably have tertiary qualifications in legal, industrial relations, or human resources, (or demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar role). In addition, the successful candidate will possess good analytical and report writing skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Applicants with a working knowledge of the Fair Work legislation and the Modern Building and Construction (Onsite) Award will be highly regarded.
