Exciting opportunity to work with a leading association Campbell ACT locationFull-time, permanent roleThe Housing Industry Association is Australia’s peak residential building industry body.  Our primary role is to represent and advance the interests of our members. We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Test and Quality Assurance Engineer to join our National team.The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of HIA’s technology products and deliverables by providing quality assurance across the testing lifecycle for system implementations as well as developing and maintaining regression and test artefacts.Key responsibilities include: Developing a fit for purpose and documented testing frameworkAssisting in the formulation of test strategy and processesPerforming functionality, usability and regression testing of productsTesting key applications and systems to ensure high quality deliverySupporting delivery teams on testing activitiesWorking collaboratively with team members to ensure timely deliveryTesting configuration and compatibility of software on multiple hardware platformsTracking, analysing, recording & verifying all identified defectsDeveloping, performing, and documenting test procedures to verify problem fixesReporting and escalating critical issuesCarrying out scheduled testing, producing test reports and providing feedbackMonitoring progress to meet key milestonesEstablishing and maintaining quality assurance procedures to test and evaluate software products. To be successful in this role, you will require: Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in planning, designing, and executing testing, and capability across a variety of test methods, techniques, and types, including :Functional, UI, API/Integration, and AutomationExperience in building and executing test artefacts, including Azure DevOps or similarExtensive experience in writing and developing test frameworks and processesExperience in design, development, and execution of automation test cases/scriptsExperience using API and Database tools (i.e. Postman, etc.)Strong technical documentation skillsStrong stakeholder management skillsAble to prioritise and meet deadlines, work independently, as well as in a teamAbility to identify, configure and maintain suitable tools to support testing and quality assurance activitiesExperience with Microsoft Dynamics CRMA full job description can be found in the Careers section on our website, hia.com.auHIA employees enjoy a variety of benefits including salary sacrifice options, purchased leave, Work from home/ flexible working arrangements, study assistance program, paid maternity leave and group insurance cover.
