Sales Coordinator/Field Officer

Exciting opportunity to work with a leading Association Permanent, full time role located in Barton ACTNational Organisation The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s peak residential building industry body. Our primary role is to represent and advance the interests of our members. We are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated, customer focused individual to assist the Apprentice team in split role achieving and exceeding sales targets in their respective regions by promoting the value and benefits of HIA Apprentices for new and existing customers and to also act as a first point of contact for prospective Host Trainers to the HIA Group Apprenticeship Scheme Nationally.Key responsibilities include:Recruits new host trainers and apprenticesEstablishes and maintains a formal field monitoring and assessment program for all apprentices and host trainersProvides a consultative service to all host trainers and apprentices ensuring that all activities relating to assessment, site visits, counseling and general day-to-day administration are undertaken effectivelyDrive sales growth for HIA Apprentices nationally by converting telephone calls, web and email enquiries to leads for the regional Apprentice teamsTo actively create new business opportunities achieving net growth of apprentices and hosts year on yearSales/CRM Pipeline managementSend sales and marketing documents to prospective Host TrainersTo be successful, you will require:An ability to generate and secure new businessHigh level of interpersonal skills and personal presentation.Well-developed levels of communication skills (oral and written).Well-developed sense of personal work organisation and a high degree of self-motivation, particularly with respect to working in a limited unsupervised capacity.Ability to develop effective work relationship with management and staff and client groups to achieve desired results and objectiveUnderstanding and full commitment to WHS.Good computer skills – particularly in the application of word processing and database application input.Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks, plan and schedule work commitments.Confidence to make urgent on the spot decisions when necessary.Working with Children Clearance and National Police CheckA proven sales record and knowledge of the Apprenticeship system would be highly desirable.
