HIA members include builders, contractors, developers, manufacturers and suppliers.  HIA delivers services to its members in a number of areas, including policy and advocacy, workplace services and training. We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Contracts and Compliance Advisor to join our Sydney based team, to provide advice to NSW members.The roleThe key objective of the role is to provide HIA members with timely, accurate and commercially realistic advice across a range of legal and industrial relations disciplines including employment law, human resources, contract administration, dispute resolution, and builder’s licensing.  In performing the role you will also be delivering training and presentations to small and large groups on key business compliance issues. The successful candidate will also be given opportunities to assist HIA lobby governments and regulators and formulate policy submissions.The personHIA is looking for individuals with a passion for learning, teamwork and practical problem solving. The successful person will need to have tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a legal, industrial relations, or related discipline (or the demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar role).
