Our vision remains the same, to be an association that speaks with a united voice on industry issues and creating real change providing quality services at the lowest possible cost and working with the sector to maintain high standards.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Apprentice Manager who can grow the HIA Apprentices business by actively recruiting new host trainers and new apprentices, scheduling of resourcing (apprentices to hosts) and maximising billable hours, and ensuring that the program is sustainable locally and is conducted in accordance with HIA policies, procedures and practices. The RoleBased in Perth, the Apprentice Manager will maintain local relationships with existing and emerging apprentices and host trainers, educational bodies, government and the general community to maintain HIA Apprentices business profile within the home building industry.Key duties of this role areRecruit new host trainers and apprentices in accordance with HIA Apprentices’ policies, procedures and practices (including but not limited to managing expressions of interest, qualifying leads, interviews, matching to suitable host opportunities, onboarding and support). Generate new host opportunities for existing and new apprentices. Promote HIA Apprentices to local potential hosts, to initiate application and participation in the Scheme. Promote HIA Apprentices as an employer of choice at local community activities and educational institution events. Maintain appropriate reporting mechanisms to measure outcomes. Foster an understanding and full commitment to WHS/OHS among apprentices, host trainers and field officers.The Successful Person will haveAn ability to generate and secure local sustained growth in the GTO – HIA Apprentices. Motivation and drive to develop effective work relationship with management and staff and client groups to achieve desired results and objectives. High level of interpersonal skills and personal presentation Well-developed levels of communication skills (oral and written) Understanding of WHS practices. Knowledge of the Apprenticeship or Training Schemes and systems. The Opportunity

The Role
