The Role 

We are seeking a Membership and Events Coordinator to join our team and assist with the annual delivery of membership sales and renewals targets for the Northern Territory region. In addition, the role will support with local events and administrative activities for the Northern Territory region.

Day-to-day, the role will:

  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new members and activities related to the retention and relationship management of existing members for the Northern Territory region
  • Assists in the development, administration, delivery and attendance at relevant HIA Events and Awards for the Northern Territory region
  • Support and administer HIA Shop sales
  • Provide a high level of customer service to HIA members, partners, customers, stakeholders and visitors to the Region, including administration activities required within the office.

Responsibilities 

  • Supports sales and retention inbound and outbound calls

  • Ongoing administration of stationery sales including ordering and stock management 
  • Assist in the coordination and marketing of NT Events and Awards programs including; sourcing local venues and meeting with local suppliers, monitoring and coordinating timelines, supporting the preparation of promotional and communication materials (including regional publications), promoting Events and Awards, processing Awards entries through the HIA system, attending relevant Events and Awards, and developing post-event materials for relevant parties
  • Support the preparation of correspondence and reports as required
