Our primary role is to represent and advance the interests of our members. We are currently seeking to employ an Events & Partnership Coordinator to join our team based in Macquarie Park. As the Event & Partnership Coordinator, your primary role will be to coordinate & deliver an effective, profitable and professional events program in NSW that supports the HIA regional events plan. You will ensure support of HIA NSW events and supporting initiatives by successful delivery of NSW centric partnership funding in line with NSW budget targets.Key responsibilities include: Assist in the program development, co-ordination and running of all NSW eventsCoordinate the administration of all NSW EventsSecure agreed partnership revenue in line with the NSW Partnership Action PlanWorking with the graphics department to prepare promotional material for eventsHandle member queries and promotional efforts for upcoming eventsSource suitable venues and suppliersNegotiate venue and supplier rates to ensure event expenditure is within budget in conjunction with the Events and Partnership ManagerLiaise with key stakeholders for events including venues, partners (sponsors), speakers, external contractors and membersAttend trade nights in Sydney Metropolitan and regional NSW as requiredCoordinate and execute the delivery of NSW Virtual EventsAssist in the delivery of partnership benefits relating to NSW events in conjunction with the Events and Partnership Manager.Other duties as directed by the Events and Partnership Manager and Deputy Executive Director.To be successful, you will require:Excellent verbal & written communication skillsExcellent project management skillsBudgeting and program managementTrack record in managing & delivering quality eventsExcellent administration skillsCommercial and business acumenAchieving results via a "hands on" approachExcellent time management skillsAbility to handle conflicting priorities, multi task, and meet deadlinesAbility to work within a team environmentMotivated, energetic and enthusiasticMust be able to liaise with partners at a senior level and ensure delivery of partnership commitmentsAble to remain calm and level headed under pressure and remain professional at all times whilst representing HIAStrong problem solving skillsExperience with virtual events will be highly regardedPosition Description AUDMacquarie Park2113
