Our vision remains the same, to be an association that speaks with a united voice on industry issues and creating real change providing quality services at the lowest possible cost, and working with the sector to maintain high standards.The Role The role of the Program Mentor is to deliver apprentice, employer and Job seeker mentoring services under 2 Queensland funded programs – Workforce Connect Fund (WCF Program) and Women in Trades Mentoring Program (‘WITM Program’).HIA has won a government tender to provide mentoring services under the Queensland Workforce Connect Fund and Women in Trades Mentoring Program for a period commencing June 2024 and concluding October 2025.HIA’s project title for these programs are:HIA Advanced Apprentice and Employer Mentoring ProgramHIA BuildHer Mentoring Program, QLDThe role will ensure delivery of the apprentice, employer and job seeker mentoring services for building and construction industry participants, under this program according to the agreed KPI’s and program outcomes.Key responsibilities for this role include:Works with the Program Manager, Mentoring - to execute the WFC and WITM Program project plans;Works closely with North QLD TAFE, RTOs and other organisations to attract apprentices and employers to participate in the program.Conducts mentoring interviews with job seekers, apprentices and employers as required and according to established proceduresMaintain mentoring records according to HIA standard procedures in a timely manner which includes the use of HIA CRM systems;The ideal applicant will have the qualities of:Well-developed personal work organisation, with a high degree of self-motivation;Dedicated and energetic towards achievement of key deliverables;Excellent time management skills, with capability to manage competing priorities;Knowledge of Apprenticeship system including experience in face to face student environments;If you are interested in this position, please submit your application by clicking on the link to apply before 30 September 2024.A full job description can be found in the Careers section on our website, hia.com.au.
