An exceptional career opportunity has become available in our Perth office to play a key role in the development and engagement of HIA's Safety Solutions offering.This role will be responsible for HIA Safety Solutions business development, product improvement and professional WHS advice for Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory regions:The Safety Adviser will be responsible for:Providing general safety advice, safety system/WHS plan development; implementations and safety reviews for customers;Building relationships with customers, acting as a subject matter expert in WHS;Working directly with customers to understand their business and determine their WHS needsPresenting in HIA safety webinars and small group workshops on pressing safety issues for customers;Leading the delivery of key outcomes required as part of Peak Body WHS Grants;Collaborating with the Manager – Safety Solutions for marketing and sales in lead generation and opportunity identification;Using a structured prospecting and tactical sales strategies to assist in achieving agreed targets for new business development including referring other HIA business solutions andMaintaining strong relationships with the key stakeholders and engage with them positively to drive WHS strategy.To be successful, you will require:Experience in WHS systems/ document or compliance writing and development;Ability to interpret and apply WHS Laws and Codes of Practice to meet customer general safety needs;Well-developed public speaking skills to present safety initiatives to customers;Experience in training small groups;Ability to write proposals and other communications to describe business needs and proposed solutions;Well-developed verbal communication skills;High level presentation skills;Attention to detail;Intermediate developed computer skills including Word, Excel, and Database etc.Sound time management skills and a keen interest in learning new systems andSafety consultancy and/or sales acumen and a WHS/OHS Certificate IV (or higher) with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience is preferred.
